Before the first class...

The first picture is a hand drawn image of two puppies that my cousin's dogs had. He sent it to me and I found them really cute. I had so much appreciation for these two puppies that I drew them and the end result was great; I'd say it will be one of my best creative works.
The second photo is of the Louvre Museum in Abu Dhabi which was opened November 2017. Lucky enough to have visited this piece of architecture in December when I visited the UAE, this architecture inspired me to be more adventurous with my designs. From the outside, the Louvre AD looked like a spaceship that has formed its own island. The interior of this museum was exceptional. I have never experienced change of spaces and flow as such.
The final picture is of the interior outdoor space of The Louvre AD by Cat DiStasio from inhabitat.com. (https://inhabitat.com/the-louvre-abu-dhabi-is-a-museum-that-is-its-own-work-of-art/louvre-abu-dhabi-light-filled) I find this photo really interesting as it demonstrates how the droplight from the outside shines into this monument and forms shapes on the ground. The roof - designed with triangles, circles, squares and hexagons, aided with the complex shadow and light play in the 'courtyard' of The Louvre. This photo almost expresses how I felt when I was walking around the courtyard of The Louvre; hence I find this photo very interesting how it captures my emotions.
