week Three
Below are the 36 custom textures that have been developed based off the 5 concepts chosen initially, from light to dark:
1 . The unnatural mix towards the organic, uneven shapes of their architecture.
2. The futuristic designs that reflect the modern technological features.
3. The awareness of sustainablility-incorporated designs to their architectural pieces.
4. The organic shapes that stands out and blends in with the natural environment/surroundings.
5. The element of stacking basic shapes in their contemporary works, forming more complex shapes.

The following are photos taken post-rendering of the light rail stop and after small adjustments being made to the light rail from week 2. The light rail has been made lower hence closer to the ground, the railway stop is flipped along the road so the stop is on the other side of the road and a new recreational area is added as an addition to the site. A light, medium, and dark structure is also implemented onto the recreational area, bus stop, and stairs to light rail stop respectively.

I believe that this light rail design truly resents both Zaha Hadid and Herzog de Meuron's characteristics as this piece of architecture implements the combination of organic shapes and of stacking. Simple shapes are placed on top of each other to create a rather complex shape, which is one of the main characteristics of Herzog de Meuron; this is done while portraying Zaha Hadid's sense of organic features.
