The Powerhouse
"Energy is Everywhere" (Theory)
After the visit to squarehouse and analysing the proportions and connections of all the buildings surrounding it, I realized that a triangular-shaped building could be placed near the squarehouse and the roundhouse to introduce a playful vibe with shapes.
As he building would be placed on site near the Tyree building, the "Powerhouse" focuses on generating energy based on naturally available resources. After reading "Your Home", written by Geoff Stapleton, published by the NSW Gov (www.yourhome.gov.au/energy/renewable-energy), I realized that solar panels can be placed at the top of the Powerhouse, declined to the middle of the building where when there is rainfall, water would flow through the centre of the building, spinning turbines making use of micro-hydro generators. This will also be a transparent process, to show the public the functionality and the purpose of the powerhouse.
The bridges are to connect in such a way as drawn to portray the ultimate effect of "Energy is Everywhere".
