Axonometric Drawing 4 - UNNATURAL
29 March 2018
For the first week for EXP2,
I chose 5 concepts that reflects
my architects that are chosen for me by my tutor (Architects; Zaha Hadid and Herzog & de Meuron):
After looking at Zaha Hadid and Herzog & de Meuron's works, and reading about their background of being aware of
urban presence, and taking into consideration the inventive, original, and civic nature of architecture, the 5 concepts are as following:
1 . The unnatural mix towards the organic, uneven shapes of their architecture.
2. The futuristic designs that reflect the modern technological features.
3. The awareness of sustainablility-incorporated designs to their architectural pieces.
4. The organic shapes that stands out and blends in with the natural environment/surroundings.
5. The element of stacking basic shapes in their contemporary works, forming more complex shapes.
The following 6 axonometric sketches are drawn on A4 sized papers and scanned to portray the 5 different concepts that has been chosen for the two architects (Note that hatchings are used to portray point of view):

These axonometric drawings are then put into sketchup.
The following are screenshots taken on sketchup, showing the axonometric drawing from the front and rear of the 6 different axonometric sketches.

Axonometric Drawing 1 is taken and then put into Lumion Rendering program as a part of the independent study:
